One of the biggest things that we pride ourselves on is that we are a family owned company. My grandfather, Bob, was a born businessman. He was always eager to work. Always eager to provide for his family. For a long period of time the company was located in the basement office of their personal home. So he would wake up, pour his cup of coffee, and descend down the stairs to the office and start working. I remember being a child and spending the night at their house, which I did quite often like most kids do, and still have the image of him sitting at his desk in the evening hours.

Hiring a family-owned business can have several benefits over hiring a non-family owned business. One of the main benefits is that family-owned businesses often have a strong sense of commitment to their customers and their community. This can result in a higher level of service and a more personal touch.

Another benefit is that family-owned businesses often have a long-term perspective. They are likely to be focused on building a reputation and maintaining relationships over time, rather than just making a quick profit. This can lead to more stability and dependability in the services they provide.

Additionally, family-owned businesses often have a vested interest in the local community, and may be more inclined to use local suppliers and services, which can benefit the local economy.

Finally, family-owned businesses often have strong values and work ethic, which can be passed down from generation to generation. This can lead to a culture of hard work, dedication and a focus on quality.

Overall, hiring a family-owned business can offer a more personal, dependable and community-minded service.
